We are a non-profit organization dedicated to a comprehensive approach and transformer in the development.
We work directly with the communities of the basin Cangrejal, La Ceiba, Atlántida, Honduras.
These communities historically marginalized face:
- Limited access to institutions
- High rates of illiteracy
- Predominance of subsistence agriculture
Our vision of the development focuses on the expansion of freedoms to improve human well-being, understanding the underdevelopment as the deprivation of essential capabilities.
Each program integrates a pedagogical dimension, fostering the deeper understanding and the collective action as an engine of change.

Un Mundo that promotes the dignity, community, and self-sufficiency, providing access to
services of health, education and sustainable livelihoods for low-income people
residing in the basin of the Rio Cangrejal, in the north of Honduras.
Our efforts are based on the understanding of underdevelopment as a
historical consequence of the conquest and colonization, and not as an inherent condition
of racial inferiority, spiritual depravity, or poverty territorial.
We dream of a future in which the communities with which we work are the protagonists of their own destiny, strengthened by knowledge, organization and autonomy. We see ourselves as a catalyst for profound transformation, where the education, health and sustainable livelihoods are guaranteed rights and do not privileges inaccessible.
We work mainly in the basin of the Rio Cangrejal, La Ceiba, Atlántida (Honduras), with rural communities that face challenges such as illiteracy and lack of access to basic services.
You can make a donation through our bank account in Honduras (Banco Ficohsa) or the US (Wells Fargo). We also accept partnerships through strategic partners.
Some of our programs are:
- Connections Literacy: Education for children, youth and adults.
- ASEC (Health and Special Education): Inclusion for children with disabilities.
- Connections for Water and Sanitation: Access to safe drinking water and ecological projects.
- Weaving Dreams: Empowerment of adolescent leaders.
